As an independent study for credit towards my journalism major, I will spend the semester blogging about the job market for social media related positions. I will find relevant and informative articles, provide my own analysis based on what I've read, and blog about my own experiences with social media.
I use Twitter, Facebook, and I have recently started using Delicious. I have been a news junkie for as long as I can remember. I will have no problem perusing the internet and providing regular updates.
I want to be as informed as possible about what type of social media positions are available, how businesses are harnessing social media outlets, and what this ultimately means for my own hopes of finding job.
I promise future posts will not make as much use of the first person.
